SANDER’S HOT FUDGE

In 1875, Fred Sanders opened his first retail shop and soda fountain in downtown Detroit.  Over the years, retail stores, soda fountains and a national distribution process helped to brand the Sanders name as a leader in premium chocolates, candies, and dessert toppings.  In 1981, Mary Ellen had such a love for Sander’s that she wanted to bring the products north.  She called Fred Sander’s and set up a meeting.  Soon after she was the first distributor of Sander’s Hot Fudge Dessert Topping in northern Michigan.
